abiding

not fighting

or fleeing the

storm but abiding

in the Vine

while cool drops

bejewel skin

and roots anchor

deeply in the

soil below

For the earth which drinks in the rain which often comes upon it, and bears herbs useful for those by whom it is cultivated, receives blessings from God;
